Goloshes of Fortune, adapted by Elizabeth Wong.
A tale of mysterious magical rain boots that will grant the wearer's greatest wish. Two meddlesome fairies wonder whether human beings can really know what brings happiness, so they slip the magical goloshes onto the feet of four unsuspecting children who think they know what they want.
The play is being produced by our THTR 335 Theater for Young Audiences class at Lafayette, which features students from all four years of study who have worked this semester to rehearse the play to perform, and who also will conduct workshops for Easton area schools.
The show is an adaptation of the Hans Christian Anderson tale “Galoshes of Fortune.” Produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc. (www.playscripts.com)
This is a free 45 minute show but tickets are required. Appropriate for all ages, best enjoyed by children ages 5-12
