Importance of Native Plants: Short Film, Panel & Tour

As part of Earth Month, come see the short (20 min) film, Insect Apocalypse, which looks at why insects are declining and how native plants can save them. After the film we'll have a panel to discuss the issues broadly and past and future efforts on campus as well as LaFarm. Presenters include Professor David Brandes, Civil & Environmental Engineering; Kylie Bailin, Skillman Library; Josh Parr, LaFarm Director; & student Maddy Lebish '23. Following the panel, we'll take a tour of some of the native trees and native plant gardens on campus. Refreshments will be provided.
