Lots of important social issues are relevant to the 2022 election, from inflation, to women's rights, to immigration and border policies, to race and social networks in political participation and voter turnout. Faculty from across the social sciences will discuss their research on these issues and how it relates to discourse around the 2022 election. The panel will feature professors Stephanie Chan (Govt & Law), Douglas de Toledo Piza (International Affairs), Dana Cuomo (WGSS), and Amy Guisinger (Economics), with professor Caroline Lee (A&S) facilitating the discussion.
Lunch will be provided starting at noon; the panel will begin at 12:15.
