Skip Wilkins, Associate Professor of Music and jazz pianist, is celebrating the release of his latest CD, Skip & Dan Wilkins Quartet: In the Stars, on Deer Head Records. The quartet will give a concert at 8 pm on Saturday, September 24th in the Williams Center for the Arts. Featured will be his son Daniel Wilkins, tenor saxophone; Tony Marino, bass; and Bill Goodwin, drums. Like their 2019 release, Someday, the group explores underplayed repertoire from the Great American Songbook.
