Those Chiquita bananas you eat everyday? This is the story of where they came from. With the start of Latinx Heritage Month, we aim to shed light on the history of the United Fruit Company and the US exploitation of Central America through bananas. We believe this is an underrepresented issue and exposing it will help us understand how the United Fruit Company shaped politics, governance, and the US-Latin American relations to this day.

Note: our guests will be on Zoom but the audience will be in-person watching together!
