On Sunday September 11, The Lafayette College Bipartisan Coalition, College Republicans, and College Democrats will be cosponsoring a joint event in remembrance of 9/11. Please join us at 2:00 PM in Room 104 of Kirby Hall of Civil Rights for a screening of the documentary '9/11: One Day In America'. Following the documentary, we will host a conversation with Professor Joshua Miller of the Government and Law Department to discuss the aftermath of 9/11 and the impact it continues to have on America. In addition to the documentary screening and discussion, a flag will be hung outside of Farinon College Center to honor those who lost their lives as a result of the tragedy of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The class of 2023 is most likely the last class of students at Lafayette College to have been born before 9/11, and even so current students were too young at the time to remember the horrific tragedy of this day. Our focus will be on raising awareness and education to a group of students who may not have a personal connection to 9/11.
