"The deep time recorded in the Pennsylvanian landscape is unlike anything I’ve known; including the geologic time that birthed the American Industrial Revolution. There’s magic in these mountains and they have much to tell.”
– Heidi Wiren Bartlett
The Grossman Gallery is transformed as a pause, a moment of reflection that complements Bartlett’s installation at the Karl Stirner Arts Trail. Assembling the magical elements of the Pennsylvania landscapes and activating them in the gallery to tap into our extra sensorial sources of power and wonder. Hex signs, singing rocks, crunchy gravel, and a multimedia video presentation conjure the primordial energies within our spirit and psyche.
