"good kid, m.A.A.d city" Stage Reading

Milena Berestko, a senior Theatre and Psychology student, will present a play she wrote as a part of her senior project in theatre. The staged reading will take place in the backyard of Connexions Gallery, Downtown Easton. 

Play Title: good kid, m.A.A.d city

Synopsis: Five incarcerated persons at a women's facility grapple with the issues of the past and test the strengths and weaknesses of their self-made prison family. With the arrival of the newest inmate (Gloria), Nat, the elder in the facility, fulfills her life goal of having a disciple. Gloria absorbs the lessons from the women and tries to balance the demands of the outside world with the role she was assigned in the facility. She is not aware of her importance in Nat's life, nor understands the tension between Nat and Bobby.
