Stop by the Farinon atrium between 11am and 1pm on Wednesday, March 5th to receive your Ash Wednesday ashes. If you cannot come in the 11-1 timeframe, you can drop by Chaplain Hendrickson's office in Farinon 107 to receive your ashes.
There will also be a brief worship service at 8:15am in Interfaith Chapel, if you would like to receive your ashes at that time.
What is Ashes to Go? It is a national movement that began in St. Louis on Ash Wednesday 2007 -- taking the ancient Christian discipline of Ash Wednesday out of the church and into the streets. College Chaplain, Rev. Alex Hendrickson, will distribute ashes to those seeking to mark the beginning of the Christian holy season of Lent. More information on the Ashes to Go movement can be found here: http://ashestogo.org/
