The prominent political scientist Alan Dowty will offer a comprehensivew review of alternative ways to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Prof. Dowty authored many important books on different aspects of Arab-Israeli relations.
He taught for many years at Notre Dame University and at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Among the many recognitions that Professor Dowty recieved is the Life Long Achievement by the Association for Israel Studies.
Following the lecture, Professor Dowty will respond to comments and questions of the audience.
HOWARD MARBLESTONE was the Charles Eliott Professor of Foreign Languages and Literatures at Lafayette College.
He served the College with distinction between 1974-2008.
He taught Greek, Hebrew and Latin, contributing to both the Classics & Jewish Studies.
Howard was loved and admired by students, faculty, and staff.
The Lecturship bearing his name was established by his faculty friends.
