 ette can contribute to \nunderstanding and reflecting the diversity of som

 ough the Our Campus below.\n\nThis event\, sponsored by the Landis Center\
 , CITLS\, FYS\, and Lafayette \nLibraries\, will have brief presentations 
 followed by discussion on how \narchives can further diversity\, inclusion
 \, and community-involvement goals. \nCultural institutions\, including ac
 ademic libraries\, seek to have collections \nrepresenting the diversity o
 f people living in the surrounding area. \nCommunity-based archives build 
 such collections by assembling oral histories\, \nvideo\, cultural artifac
 ts\, and ephemera. Charlotte Nunes will discuss how \nSkillman Library con
 tinues to develop such an archive. Abu Rizvi will show \nhow his FYS\, 'Ma
 king Change Democratically\,' engages students in working with \nthe oral 
 histories in one of these digital collections to develop policy \nbriefs a
 ddressing issues relevant to the Black population in Bethlehem\, PA.\n\nht
