The documentary film explores the struggles of the LGBTQIA+ community in Uganda in the wake of that country’s Anti-Homosexuality bill, focusing in part on the 2011 murder of activist David Kato. The Uganda government continues to reintroduces the proposed ‘Kill the Gays’ legislation, each time Uganda has seen a rise in attacks on LGBTQIA+ people.
