In this talk, Professor Gaugler will briefly describe some projects with which he’s been involved, and how they reinforce some particularly important principles about how we should approach data-informed decision-making.   In particular, we can think about the role of variability and how we can both embrace and respect it, and how this manifests in study design and analysis principles.

This talk is sponsored by the Thomas Roy and Lura Forest Jones Faculty Lecture and Awards Fund, established in 1966 to recognize superior teaching and scholarship at Lafayette College.
