The Lafayette College Percussion Ensemble will present their spring concert on Monday, May 10 at 8:00 pm via Vimeo streaming. Tickets are free and will generate the link needed to view the video starting at 8:00 pm.  It can also be viewed later at your convenience.

The program will include both full and small ensemble pieces representing a wide variety of genres and instrumental groupings.  As a special feature of the program, several selections will be led by student conductors (Anna Zittle, Corey Beck, Jordan Leiber, Anna Boggess, and Jennifer Galdieri).  The concert will open with a new rendition of the West African staple, Kpanlogo, with the full djembe ensemble and will conclude with the full taiko ensemble performing Kintsugi, which refers to the ancient Japanese technique of reconstructing a treasured work by lining the pieces with gold.  The remainder of the program will feature several small ensemble selections and two large-scale marimba/vibraphone features.  The ensemble is under the direction of Professor J. Larry Stockton.Click below to order Tickets (a link will be sent):
