VIRTUAL - Senior Success Series: Networking

Class of 2021: Take advantage of this special opportunity to dig into senior-specific topics to help you with your after-Lafayette planning!
Dates: Monday-Thursday, April 5-8; Pick and choose the sessions of interest to you, and those that best fit your schedule. Each session will be available at 12:15pm AND 4:15pm on its scheduled day.

Register for each session you'd like to attend within the "Events" tab of Handshake:
Monday, April 5th - Life After Lafayette: This session will cover what to expect six months after graduation, basic budgeting tips, and employer benefits. We'll also discuss how to develop effective alternate plans, and pursuing graduate school in the future.
Tuesday, April 6th - Telling Your Story: This session will focus on creating and telling your story through virtual, asynchronous, phone, and in-person interviews. We'll also discuss how to identify key skills to highlight and developing story prompts. Employer advice will be shared.
Wednesday, April 7th - Networking: This session will highlight networking correspondence strategies, follow-up communications, and how to reconnect with a "cold" contact. We'll also discuss how to build networking into your weekly schedule, and the importance of prioritizing networking now and in the future.
Thursday, April 8th - Strategic Job Search: This session will focus on job search related goal-setting and timelines, and how to create an individualized action plan to drive you forward with your search. We'll also discuss the critical importance of targeted application documents and LinkedIn.
