As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Coeducation, we reflect on the history of Lafayette student service. Today, community service and engagement activities are coordinated by the Landis Center for Community Engagement. But Landis wasn’t established until June 1999, thanks to a generous gift from John W. ’39 and Muriel T. S. Landis. So what did Lafayette student service look like before Landis was Landis? Was the partnership between the College and Easton always as positive as it is now? Join us for a historical review of community engagement at Lafayette College. We invite current students and alumni involved in service to attend and share your questions and reflections with our panelists.
