DESCRIPTION:Contemplative pedagogy has become increasingly popular in the w
 ake of the  \npandemic\, with students and faculty seeking ways to reduce 
 stress and regain  \nfocus. Anti-racist pedagogy is also increasingly prom
 inent in light of the  \nBlack Lives Matter protests of 2020. This worksho
 p explores the powerful  \nconvergence of these two generative approaches.
  We will briefly explore the  \nhistory and rationale behind contemplative
  and anti-racist pedagogies before  \nsharing in a practice together that 
 you can take into your own classroom\, as  \nwell as ideas for further wor
 k in this area. No experience is assumed in any  \nof these areas prior to
  the workshop\, and faculty in all fields are most  \nwelcome.\n\nThis eve
