We continue to experience a mental health crisis in our
nation only exacerbated by the impacts of COVID-19 and
racial injustice. To learn more about current scientific
research findings related to mental health, all members of
the Lafayette community are invited to attend a research
talk led by Dr. Nii Addy of Yale University on the basic
science of anxiety and depression.

Registration information is forthcoming in Lafayette Today.
This event is co-sponsored by the Center for the Integration
of Teaching, Learning & Scholarship and the Neuroscience
Program. The session follows the Inclusive Teaching &
Excellence Series event, "Supporting Our Students' Mental
Health Through COVID-19 and Beyond." Both events occur
during Mental Illness Awareness Week in the month of
October.
