An economics major at Lafayette, Mike Weinstein served as captain of the swim team and water polo team. He graduated with honors, was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1972.
Weinstein and his wife, Jill, helped dramatically transform Lafayette's natatorium in 2016 with a multi-million-dollar gift. Their contribution was the lead gift for an extensive renovation featuring the addition of striking exterior windows and significant upgrades to spectator seating and pool lighting. Major improvements also included new one-meter and three-meter diving towers, a new scoreboard, new mechanical systems, a new pool tank finish, and an upgraded race timing system.
Primetime Pards is a year-long monthly alumni engagement series coordinated by Lafayette Athletics, in partnership with the Communications and Development divisions of the College. Each edition of Primetime Pards is hosted by Gary Laubach of the Lafayette Sports Network on Zoom at 8 p.m. ET and feature a guest alum. Because of Zoom participation limitations, early registration for Primetime Pards is encouraged
