Designing an Effective Moodle Course Site

The layout and organization of a course can have a strong impact on students’ comfort and engagement with course material. Too much material can overwhelm learners or make specific content challenging to locate. This session covers various approaches to designing and laying out your courses based on their organizational structure (e.g., weekly sections, or topical, etc.). In addition, techniques for revealing or hiding content automatically, based on dates or other criteria, will be demonstrated.
