Learn to WELD and MACHINE steel, SOLDER circuits, 3D PRINT gears, and LASER CUT acrylic in these interactive Engineering Week activities! Participants will be able to take home a functioning gearbox at the end of the program.

Who: ALL Lafayette College students and faculty (NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)
When: 4:15-5:30 PM on Tuesday, February 18 - Friday February 21
Cost: FREE

Schedule of Events (Come to ALL or come to one)
Tuesday (2/18): 3D Printing, Laser Cutting, and CNC Machining (Learn to use a 3D printer and laser cutter and observe the CNC Machining process)
Wednesday (2/19): Circuit Soldering (Create a circuit to power and control the DC motor for your gearbox)
Thursday (2/20): Steel Welding (Weld together the steel housing for your gearbox)
Friday (2/21): Assembly (Assemble the parts you made during the week into a functioning gearbox)
