Swan Lake at New York City Ballet
with Exclusive Meet the Musician Opportunity
Join the New York City Alumni Chapter for an evening at the New York City Ballet to enjoy the classic Swan Lake. A stunning romantic tragedy, this seminal ballet is choreographed by Peter Martins after Marius Petipa, Lev Ivanov, and George Balanchine and is shaped by Tschaikovsky’s heartbreakingly beautiful score and the central role of Odette/Odile, an interpretation that is both technically and emotionally demanding.
Prior to the performance, participate in our group's exclusive Meet the Musician opportunity. See the music and hear the dance from a musician’s perspective and enjoy a look into the orchestra pit. We will enjoy the splendor of the Theater as a member from the Company’s 62-piece Orchestra leads a conversation on music’s integral contribution to the beauty of a ballet performance.
