Ringing Rocks Park, Upper Black Eddy, PA
Hike is Free / Lunch on your own

**Lafayette College is currently monitoring the public health situation related to COVID-19. You will be notified should plans for this event change.

To stay up to date on Lafayette’s response to the outbreak, we encourage you to check the College COVID-19 website, which will be updated with information as it becomes available.**

Join the Lafayette Alumni of the Lehigh Valley with your family to experience the beautiful outdoors and some unusual geology. Associate Professor of Geology Dave Sunderlin will guide the group on a trail to the boulder field and waterfall at Ringing Rocks Park. Use our hammers and learn why the rocks ring and how they got there. Sneakers or sturdy shoes are highly recommended. Not recommended for very small children (6 and older, please) or those with difficulty walking.

Following the hike, join Associate Professor of Geology Dave Sunderlin for lunch at Narrow's Restaurant at 11:30 a.m.  If you don't participate in the hike, you can still meet at Narrow's Restaurant at 11:30 a.m.    ** In case of rain, lunch will still take place, but the tour of Ringing Rocks will be rescheduled.**
