In 2010, Rutgers student Tyler Clementi committed suicide after discovering that his roommate had used a webcam to record intimate moments he shared with another man. On March 16th, 2012, that same roommate was found guilty of invasion of privacy and intimidation based on sexual orientation. At this brown bag we will talk about the issues of the case, including bullying, the implications and precedent set by the decision, and how it impacts our lives here at Lafayette. Lunch will be provided.
