 Professor Emeritus, Don Miller, To Appear Locally for Book Signing

Donald L. Miller, the John Henry MacCracken Professor of History Emeritus at Lafayette College, will be appearing throughout the country at book signings for his new book,Vicksburg: Grant’s Campaign That Broke the Confederacy (on sale October 29, 2019), Miller's book is an epic tale of the rise and fall of slavery and plantation culture in war-ravaged Mississippi.

Donald L. Miller is the author of ten books, including City of the Century: The Epic of Chicago and the Making of America, Lewis Mumford, A Life (a New York Times Notable Book), and the critically acclaimed bestseller Masters of the Air, which is currently being made into a television series by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. Miller has hosted, co-produced, or served as historical consultant for more than thirty television documentaries and has written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, and other publications.
