All faculty advisors (new advisors and continuing advisors) are invited to a workshop hosted by the Office of Advising and the Office of the Registar. Topics to be covered include the goals of academic advising, the Common Course of Study (CCS), advising tools such as Banner and DegreeWorks, FERPA considerations, key sources of support and referrals, common issues encountered with advisees, and other useful topics.
