On May 25, 2019 at Lafayette College’s 184 Commencement, President Alison Byerly will present Legendary Drummer and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member Max Weinberg with an Honorary Degree. But before that, Max is giving a concert for all his fans here at Lafayette!!

We are excited to announce that Max Weinberg is bringing his tour to Lafayette College.  Max Weinberg’s Jukebox will play at Lafayette’s Williams Center for the Arts on Friday, May 24, 2019.  Concert begins at 8pm, doors open at 7:30pm.  Tickets will go on sale for the Lafayette community on Wednesday, April 17 and open to the general public on Monday, April 22.  Tickets can be purchased here: https://lafayette.universitytickets.com/w/event.aspx?id=1605  

A truly interactive concert experience, Weinberg invites the audience to create in real time the set he and his four-piece group will play that night – from a list of 300 songs that include everything from the Beatles to the Stones to Bruce and The E Street Band’s biggest hits!  Weinberg, the driving rhythmic force propelling The E Street Band for 43 years, is also known to millions of fans for his 17-year stint as the bandleader and comedic foil to talk show host Conan O’Brien on Late Night and the Tonight Show.
