We strongly encourage those of you who will be submitting an HP campus application this spring or are still unsure whether you will be applying to a health professional school in the upcoming cycle to attend this hands-on workshop.

The workshop is part of a series that will help you understand, and create, a good health professions admissions essay. What is the purpose of the essay? What does it accomplish? How do admissions officials read the essays? What kind of moves should the writer make and what should the writer avoid? After learning about the process, you will do exercises that will help you begin your essay in preparation for a second workshop scheduled on February 11, 2019 (4:00pm-6:00pm; 117 Kunkel). Bringing a laptop to the session may be helpful but is not required.
