The entire Lafayette community (faculty, students, staff) is invited to the screening of the film Can We Talk? Difficult Conversations with Underrepresented People of Color: Sense of Belonging and Obstacles to STEM Fields by Dr. Kendall Moore, an award-winning documentary filmmaker and Professor of Journalism and Film Media at the University of Rhode Island. This film looks at various obstacles and impediments–structural, cultural, psychological, and institutional–that effectively limit the inclusion and participation of underrepresented people of color in STEM fields.  The event will be followed by a discussion with the filmmaker. Light refreshments will be served.  A registration link is to come.

There is a parking lot directly behind the building (enter from Snyder Street) and another small lot across North Third Street. Click here to view the campus map. <https://campusmap.lafayette.edu
