In recent years, the use of social media in healthcare has been increasing. Dr. Eidelman will discuss ethics, responsible use, privacy precautions, and confidentially standards for healthcare professionals when maintaining their online presence. He will highlight some of the potential risks and benefits healthcare professionals face when using social media. Dr. Eidelman will conclude his talk by providing best practices and tips geared toward students to allow them to successfully manage their personal social media presence. This presentation is open to all students.
