 icks\, Hooks\, and \nthe Mobius: Knit and Crochet go Cerebral\,' Kendrick 
 will be knitting a \nshroud.\n\nMadame Defarge\, a character in Charles Di
 ckens’'A Tale of Two Cities\,'  sat \nat the base of the guillotine and kn
 itted the names of doomed aristocrats \ninto a shroud. For her version\, K
 endrick invites visitors to write on \ntri-colored ribbon the emotions\, h
 abits\, and lifestyles that they would like \nto cut from their lives. She
  will be knitting the scraps into the shroud.\n\nThe Madame Defarge Projec
 t celebrates the 200th birthday of Dickens in \nFebruary.\n\nOn January 10
 \, the 60 inch wide shroud was about 48 inches long. As of  \nJanuary 28\,
  the shroud is 61 inches long.\n\nCome to the closing reception on Februar
