Are you interested in shadowing physicians or physician assistants in various specialties to gain an understanding of what a day of a clinician entails? If so, please join us to learn how you can apply for the Pre-med or Pre-PA Observer positions available through St. Luke’s University Health Network. The emphasis of the program is on helping students to decide if becoming a physician or PA is a right fit for them. This program isn’t for students to accumulate observation hours. Students who want direct patient hours are encourage to apply for a volunteering assignment.

As part of these shadowing experiences, you will also visit a number of diagnostic and treatment areas within the St. Luke’s Anderson and University Hospital campuses. You will be required to observe a minimum of 60 hours during this semester (Fall 2018) long program. In order to apply, you must be either a rising junior or senior. If you’re a rising sophomore, you’re encouraged to attend this meeting as well so you can plan ahead for next year when you will be eligible to apply.

To attend, please register at the following Qualtrics link: https://lafayettec.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3scPFY02y8XQfAx

We understand that some of you may have class schedules that conflict with some of this time, but please feel free to join us for as long as you can.

We look forward to seeing you on the 27th!
