This semester, Lafayette is working with the One Love Foundation to bring more education and awareness to campus about relationship abuse.
Here are the facts: 1 in 3 women, and 1 in 4 men will be in an abusive relationship in his or her lifetime, and the 16-24 age group is at a 3x greater risk than any other age group.
One Love creates engaging tools that provide education about the varied signs of abuse, sparking eye-opening discussions about what healthy and unhealthy relationships looks like. This semester we will be offering Escalation Workshops for students, faculty, and staff.
The Escalation Workshop, is a 90 minutes workshop and consists of an award winning film followed by a guided discussion. A trained facilitator will be running the workshop. You can learn more about the Escalation workshop here. Please know that the workshops are based on RSVPs and that we cannot accept more than 15 participants per session.
