Join the Office of Intercultural Development as we travel to the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. This trip is the featured trip on Black Heritage Month 2018 and will be an excellent opportunity to learn about the amazing achievements of Black Americans, support an institution of Black Studies, and to spend some time with fellow students.

Our chartered bus to the Schomberg Center in New York City will depart on Saturday, February 24th 2018 at 9:00 am from Kirby Sports Center (corner of Hamilton and Pierce Streets).

Please arrive by 8:50 am to board the bus.
We anticipate arriving at the Center by 10:45 am.

Our group will participate in a self-guided tour of the Center (https://www.nypl.org/locations/schomburg)

Lunch is on your own (there is a cafe on the premises as well as local eateries in the nearby vicinity)

We will depart from the Center at 4:00 pm and anticipate arriving back at Lafayette by 5:45 pm

We anticipate this event will be in high demand, so registration is required. Transportation and admission are free. However, should a registered participant not attend, that student's Lafayette College account will be charged for the full cost of the trip($25). Click here to RSVP
