Designing Accessible Course Materials

ITS staff will demonstrate a variety of tools and practices, which include using the built-in accessibility checker in Moodle, captioning video content, providing alternative “alt” text on images, creating accessible PDFs, techniques for creating accessible content from scanned materials, and providing students ready-made accessible materials through online sources like ebooks.
