Dr. Mitchell received her BS in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh, a MS in Biology from Duquesne University, and a PhD in Human Genetics and Molecular Biology from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is currently a CFD Teaching Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Biology. Her research interests include environmental/biological determinants of lung cancer disparities and precision medicine and she also teaches BIOL 351 Precision Medicine.
