The Literacy Day Children's book drive is running right after winter break!

What is Literacy Day?

Literacy Day is an annual Lafayette-Easton community event sponsored by the LANDIS Center where children from the Easton community come to Lafayette for a fun day filled with activities, food, and performances based on a children's book. This year the chosen book is "There's no place like space!" by Trish Rabe. Books collected during the book drive will go to the children participating in Literacy Day as well as other children in the community.

Winter break would be a great time to scour your shelves to find some unused chidren's books to donate to a worthy cause. We are accepting books for kids in grades K-7. The book drive will run fromJanuary 22nd to January 29th. There will be boxes located in Pardee, Farinon Atrium, Skillman Library, Markle, and Marquis Dining Hall.

Many thanks,

Team America
