Jenna Abrams swiftly gained mainstream attention and directly influenced discussion in US media. Jenna Abrams is also a fictional creation of a professional hacker group. The story of Jenna Abrams is by no means unique and the techniques used have been made public. An interdisciplinary panel will discuss the broader context of this form of exploitation of identity as a tool of social influence in the social media era. There will also be cookies.
