Jazz Combos Concert

Jazz Combo is a performance ensemble class which pursues the study and performance of jazz repertoire in an ensemble format.  Students develop interpretation and improvisational skills in jazz compositions and arrangements in a variety of jazz styles.  The repertoire for the ensemble's most recent performance included "Tenor Madness" by Sonny Rollins; "500 Miles High" by Chick Corea and Neville Potter; "Serpents Tooth" by Miles Davis and more.  Admission is free.  Tickets available through the box office Monday-Friday between noon and 2:00pm and 4:00-5:00pm, or one hour before the show.  Tickets can also be ordered online at lafayetteartstickets.com
