Atul Gawande, renowned surgeon, public health researcher, and NY Times best selling author of four books on health issues, will be the guest speaker at a live simulcast hosted by NPR’s Robin Young for members of the Village on College Hill and the Lafayette community. Dr. Gawande’s simulcast discussion, entitled “Being Mortal’s Villages: The Value of Community Choice As We Grow Older,” will focus on aging, living life with purpose, and how we can live out our later years with vigor among others who are also aging.
