Nineteen students from across Lafayette College and Lehigh University completed an interdisciplinary course and worked in internships related to health care while living in London this past summer. Their final project for the course was to complete a comparative cross-country study of an issue in health care. The posters that will be on display present those findings.

Please take some time to stop by Friday --- to learn about these topics, ask questions about the course and the internships, and hear more about the London experience as seen through these students' eyes. The topics covered are pharmaceutical advertising, tuberculosis, waiting times for surgery, emergency contraceptive pills, mammogram screenings, the impact of cigarettes, medical training and satisfaction, issues around suicide, and infant mortality.
