All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join Yoga as a Spiritual Practice on Thursdays throughout the semester!

In this restorative yoga class guided by Kelly and Iris, we will dive into the ancient yogic teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, along with a gentle yoga practice, focused on breathing, meditation, and deep rest.  Mats and blankets are provided, and chairs will be available for those who prefer not to use a mat.

The Bhagavad Gita is universally renowned as the jewel of India's spiritual wisdom. Spoken by Lord Krishna to His disciple Arjuna, the Gita's seven hundred concise verses provide a guide to the science of self realization. No other philosophical or religious work reveals, in such a lucid and profound way, the nature of consciousness, the self, the universe and the Supreme. Gandhi referred to the Gita as his "spiritual dictionary."
