Lafayette College's celebrated writer-in-residence, Lee Upton, reads from her newest book Visitations, just released from Louisiana State University Press. According to the publisher: "The dazzling and intricate stories in Lee Upton's latest collection frequently draw inspiration from books .... "Night Walkers" tells the story of the worlds laziest book club, while "A Story's End" follows a woman's search for the last book read by her mother before her sudden death. ... Visitations brings together seventeen incandescent short stories from a writer at the height of her powers."

A reception and book signing will follow the reading and attendees will also have the chance to meet Lafayette's new Dean of Libraries, Anne Houston.
