Marquis Parents Council Fall Meeting

This invite only event recognizes the outstanding support and commitment of parents to Lafayette College.  During the meeting, parents hear from College leadership about select topics at relevant to current students.

Members of the Marquis Parents Council attend two meetings per academic year, one of which is held during Family Weekend and the other during the spring semester.  They provide the President and the College with comment, reaction, and counsel on issues of importance to the interests of the College; undertake ad hoc assignments where individual expertise or influence can be beneficial to the College; help identify other parents capable of lending support to the College and encourage these individuals to join the Marquis Parents Council.  Marquis Parents Council members maintain membership in the Marquis Society throughout their tenure on the Council.  Members may also host receptions or make calls to encourage other parents to attend regional and campus Lafayette events.
