Don't solve for x, solve for WHY! TEDx Lafayette College is pleased to announce our sixth annual conference, to be held on Saturday April 8th at 12PM in Colton Chapel. This year we are pleased to announce our theme of Solve for Y . This theme is meant to provoke discussion concerning strategic and creative problem solving in the current challenging world environment. Speakers this year include Sigrid Fry Revere , kidney selling researcher, John Shaw , lawyer and professor of social psychology, David Sun Kong , synthetic biologist and rapper, Bonnie Winfield , community partnership director at Lafayette college, and Joe Raiola , editor of MAD Magazine.  Food and Tshirts will be provided free of charge with registration!

TEDxLafayetteCollege was founded in 2011. For years, we have brought pioneering scientists, artists, activists and explorers to Lafayette and give talks that are idea-focused on a wide range ofsubjects, to foster learning, inspiration and wonder, and provoke conversations that matter. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share in the spirit of ideas worth spreading . At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. TEDx events are independent of TED, but work with TED to create a TED-like experience with the goal of sharing new ideas.

If you have any questions, contact Morgan Levy, TEDxLafayetteCollege President, at ted@lafayette.edu.
