The Council of Lafayette Women invites you to join fellow alumnae and parents at the Beacon Hill Club for a reception with Jamila Bookwala, Lafayette Professor of Psychology and Dean of Curriculum and Research. Connect with other Lafayette women and learn about the impact close relationships have on our health, especially as we age. Professor Bookwala will discuss her research on how our most intimate relationships – with spouses and confidants – contribute in important ways to better health and also serve as an important buffer in the face of life stressors.
