Young Life, one of the student organizations under the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life, is hosting an event to usher in the season of Lent.  Chaplain Alex Hendrickson will begin with a brief overview of the history of Lent and then we will transition to talk about a new idea to follow a Lenten Calendar for the next 40 days. The idea is that while during Lent we typically focus on taking something away and using that time to reflect and give more time to think about our faith, we want consider a different approach this year by adding daily spiritual disciplines that will help us to focus, reflect, pray, meditate, and take action. Please join us for this short welcome event on Wednesday, March 1st from 4:15-4:30pm in Farinon Atrium to welcome the beginning of Lent together and to receive your copy of the calendar.
