Dr. Haussmann examines biological phenomena in a diverse and integrative way, using tools that have origins in the traditional fields of physiology, ecology, evolution, and molecular biology. By drawing from these disciplines, he studies the physiological and molecular underpinnings of aging, and how these traits influence survival and lifespan in a wide variety of species.
