Explore the life of the mind in a new way. Join members of the Lafayette and local community in the practice of mindfulness of breathing meditation as taught in the Buddhist tradition. Learn to let go of clinging and attachment and discover true peace of mind. Short Buddhist teachings are occasionally given. A limited number of meditation cushion/mat sets are available. Please bring your own cushion if you have one or a firm pillow, blanket, or even a folded towel on which to sit. If you are unable to sit on the floor, straight-backed chairs are available to use. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the public are invited to participate. Please remove your shoes once inside the Chapel and leave them in the foyer.
