Skillman Library will host an informal discussion of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's We Should All Be Feminists. In this essay Adichie lays out her vision of what feminism should be in the 21st Century: an inclusive movement "that strives to highlight and embrace a wide range of people and experiences" (School Library Journal, 2015). The discussion will take place on Thursday, December 8th, at 4:10pm in Skillman 003.

Those who are unable to buy and/or read the essay can watch the original 2012 TEDx talk that inspired the publication and join in the discussion.

From the text: "I would like to ask that we begin to dream about and plan for a different world. A fairer world. A world of happier men and happier women who are truer to themselves."
